Position Summary:
Archiver’s has an excellent opportunity for a management career in a fun, creative environment. We are currently searching for a Store Sales Manager for our Austin/Cedar Park location. The Store Manager has a broad responsibility for the overall operation and performance of their store, as well as special event planning and management.

 

Job Responsibilities include:

·         Commitment to providing outstanding customer sales while maximizing sales

·         Motivating staff to continually drive sales

·         Create a selling environment focused on customer service, product knowledge and performance objectives

·         Actively manage store costs such as labor/payroll, shrink and general store supply costs/expenses

·         Ensure staff members are following store policies and procedures

·         Planning, delegating and organizing work among staff

·         Recruiting, Interviewing and selection of potential new employees

·         Providing on-going performance management of staff, conducting performance reviews and counseling employees on performance issues

·         Training and inspiring new employees, as well as continued training of existing employees

·         Communicating, executing and managing marketing and merchandising initiatives

·         Monitors inventory levels and ensure merchandise is properly received, stocked and accounted for

·         Overseeing the successful execution of our workshops and classes

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years of successful retail management experience in a fast paced, high volume environment, strong sales aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and exceptional problem-solving and communication skills. Qualified candidates must also have a creative mind and be knowledgeable with scrapbooking, card making and paper crafting. The Store Manager must be available to work retail hours, which will include day, evening and weekend shifts.
